The OEI is committed to communicating frequently with stakeholders to exchange information on energy projects, energy security initiatives, technologies and potential project opportunities. The intent of OEI news is to keep you informed about OEI large-scale energy projects and current hot topics.

  • Spring 2017 | This issue highlights the the Army's efforts to provide islandabl capabilities to Army installations. Such projects will integrate energy storage (such as batteries or fuel), power generation, and energy switching and control systems to isolate and dispatch the flow of power to where and when it is needed in the event of a grid disruption. The issue also provides information on upcoming events and information to provide feedback on the Army OEI News publication.
  • October 2016 | This issue highlights the Army's participation in October Energy Action Month and features tips to save energy during this month-long initiative and throughout the year. The issue also provides updates on upcoming events, and opportunities to meet with Army representatives.
