Tribal Involvement

Our Nation recognizes the sovereign status of Indian tribes. Within that context, Federal agencies operate within a government-to-government relationship with federally recognized Indian tribes. Properly involving Indian tribes is encouraged and requires a through understanding of Army tribal policy and guidelines. This section of the Web site provides basic information for involving Indian tribes and links to additional information, including specialized training opportunities.
